On December 14, 2024, All4Paws celebrates our 13th birthday as a non-profit dog and cat rescue organization. Since our beginning, we have rescued over 21,000 helpless and hopeless dogs and cats, many of which other rescue organizations could not accept because of critical medical or behavioral issues. Unlike typical municipal and open admission shelters, we receive no city, county or state funding. All4Paws depends on donations from individuals and local businesses to do what we do.
While animal rescue organizations across the country are still struggling to return to pre-pandemic 2019 levels of adoptions, All4Paws adoptions have increased over 60% since 2019 thanks to our staff volunteers and donors. This increase has been accompanied with an increase in number of animals received with special medical and behavioral needs, ones we refer to as compassion animals.
Unfortunately, the number of compassion animals received has exceeded funding required to care for these innocent pets with special needs. We have depleted our reserves and desperately need your help to continue doing what we can accomplish together, providing hope, help and a forever home to abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs and cats. Your donation is not just an act of compassion, but a legacy that will make a real difference to a special pet and to the family it touches.
Ways Your Membership Helps Our Community:
- All4Paws rescues animals from community kill shelters just hours from being euthanized. Each year, over 1,600 cats and dogs find their way to All4Paws, seeking help, hope, and a home.
- All4Paws assists in rescue operations in surrounding cities and states, providing shelter after hoarding situations or natural disasters. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that animals in dire circumstances receive the care and attention they need. Whether it’s rescuing pets from overcrowded shelters or offering refuge to animals displaced by family and personal emergencies, we are committed to making a difference.
- All4Paws is a major provider of low cost/free Spay Neuter services in Georgetown and Horry County. To spay or neuter ten cats costs $500, an investment that can reduce cat overpopulation by 40,000 cats over the next 6 years.
- We provide educational programs for young people for groups like Carolina Human Reinvestment and continue our partnership with Baskervill Food Pantry providing tons of free pet food to individuals in need.
- Our dedicated team of over 300 active volunteers contributes more than 65,000 hours annually – the equivalent of 30 full-time employees. This incredible effort not only supports our mission but also provides our volunteers with meaningful opportunities to give back to the community.
Over the years there have been countless journeys from despair to hope and they are a testament to the power of compassion and the difference we can make together.
