Homer is a brave and resilient dog whose journey is marked by unimaginable suffering, yet also by a glimmer of hope and the promise of a brighter future.

When Homer arrived, he was covered in severe, painful thermal burns from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. The extent of his injuries was heart-wrenching. It was clear he had endured immense suffering.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers sprang into action, ready to provide Homer with comprehensive care to heal and thrive. We have already begun planning his treatment, which will include the best veterinary care available, onsite cold laser therapy to promote healing and reduce pain,
and an abundance of love and compassion from our team.

Homer’s journey to recovery is filled with numerous medical treatments, countless hours of therapy, and tender, loving care only a community like ours provides.
